The Mid-Florida Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club is an American Kennel Club (AKC) -licensed specialty club, operating in Central Florida. The club's territory extends north to Ocala and south to Port Charlotte and to the east and west Central Florida coasts. Our members are a group of Cavalier owners, breeders, and fanciers who are dedicated to breeding and raising this magnificent Toy Dog, in accordance with the club's Code of Ethics.
The objectives of the club shall be:
(a) to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Cavaliers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection;
(b) to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the AKC as the only standard of excellence by which Cavaliers shall be judged;
(c) to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows;
(d) to conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, and educational activities under the rules and regulations of the AKC;
(e) to rescue endangered Cavaliers;
(f) to promote the health and well-being of the breed.
